Lieke Klerks our Corporate Social Responsibility Manager

Four years ago I started at Wereldhave for my graduation research and later that year I started my traineeship to become a Shopping Center Manager. Because of the development and growth of Wereldhave I have been able to develop myself from Shopping Center Manager to Corporate Social Responsibility Manager for the Dutch organization. Since 2017 I am Group Corporate Social Responsibility Manager. In my current position I am responsible for Wereldhave’s company wide sustainability strategy. It is an unique and interesting position because of the collaboration with all departments and in all countries. Our ambitious sustainability strategy is focused on environmental, social and economic impact. We have a lot of impact with our organization for instance in the communities we serve and for our customers. In addition, we aim to manage our shopping centers as sustainable as possible to create long-term value. Creating social impact and the pleasant contact with colleagues makes me happy every day!

Domien Smits our Financial & Business Controller

I am working as a controller in a corporate environment dealing with in- and external financial and non-financial reporting. At Group level we work in a small team were I benefit from the fast decision process around several business cases. I work closely together with our IT, Tax, Treasury, Legal and Investor Relation specialists. Cooperation with different cultures in Finland, Belgium and France means that I can develop on content and communication. The contribution of new ideas from my colleagues and myself is stimulated by the Management team what motivates me a lot. Our Schiphol office is a great place to work with room for working in teams and individually and the reachability is easy by car and public transport.

Anita Nieuwenhuis our Legal Coordinator

Having great colleagues, enough possibilities to grow within the organisation and the ability to develop myself makes me very passionate about working for Wereldhave. I support the Managing Director Legal, Transactions & Communications. The variety of work makes the job challenging e.g. manage updating of all group company legal files for the Netherlands and the premises abroad and also support. But also coordinating, assisting and preparing all kind of activities e.g. due diligence, meeting Supervisory Board and its Committees, corporate actions, publication of press releases, keeping the website up to date, annual reports and reviews.

Ger Hulst our Technical Manager

Technical Managers have to ensure that our shopping centres are well maintained to provide an optimal shopping experience for our visitors. Besides troubleshooting, I am initiating sustainable projects, contract management, small maintenance, setting up multi-year budgeting, pre- and post inspections and project administration.
I like working in a team, with all the enthusiastic and talented people at Wereldhave, and it is satisfying to share my technical knowledge and experience with them. Also the fact that Wereldhave is financially sound and supports career development opportunities, makes it a pleasant employer to work for.
